About the Team

This is a pioneering, cross-functional growth hub at the heart of OLX, where product, engineering, data science, and marketing converge to build the future of organic search and AI search discovery. We experiment at a global scale, with billions of indexed pages, millions of users and multi-category platforms, to crack continuous audience growth and AI Search challenges in marketplaces. About the Role

You will own the SEO & GEO growth agenda for a key vertical (Motors, Real Estate, or Jobs). You will serve as a product growth leader, driving visibility and impact on a global scale. This is your chance to lead the way in GEO and AI-first strategies in one of the world’s largest classifieds ecosystems. You will work closely with product teams, data scientists, and engineers to hardwire SEO/AI-first thinking into our platforms. You will report directly to the Head of SEO/GEO and shape strategic decisions that guide OLX’s growth. While the Head of SEO/GEO is onboarding, you will take full ownership of your category and push its growth agenda to new benchmarks.

Please note that this position can be based in Portugal, Poland, or Romania. OLX does not provide relocation support, so you must already be based in and eligible to work from one of these locations.

What responsibilities will you get when working with us?

• Design and execute an ambitious, AI-powered SEO & GEO roadmap, aligned with OLX’s global business and product vision, focused on scale, automation, and long-term growth.
• Take full ownership of a category’s organic growth engine. Starting from vision to execution, and being the key driver of its marketplace visibility.
• Be embedded directly within product teams, ensuring SEO, AI, and GEO innovation are hardwired into product design, engineering, and marketing strategies to optimise search.
• Run large-scale experiments, A/B testing, and automation initiatives to unlock competitive edge and accelerate growth.
• Leverage advanced data stacks (BigQuery, Python automation, AI-driven analytics) to transform raw data into actionable product growth insights.
• Act as a thought leader internally and externally, evangelising OLX’s role as a global innovator in AI-driven organic growth.
• Push the frontier, from generative AI models to large-scale semantic search, making OLX a category-defining player in the era of AI-driven discovery.

What will help you to be successful in this role?

• Proven experience scaling organic growth for large, complex platforms (multi-million pages, multi-category products) and demonstrated experience in leading AI/SEO innovation.
• 5-7 Years of experience in the search engine optimization field.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
• Expert knowledge of SEO tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, Moz, and familiar with HTML, JavaScript, and CSS. In addition, hands-on expertise with modern SEO stacks, data pipelines, A/B testing, and AI-driven approaches (e.g., NLP, automation, ML-based insights).
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into actionable insights and drive business outcomes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate complex concepts simply and convincingly.
• Demonstrated leadership and people-management skills with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams.
• Understanding of various digital marketing channels, including PR, web development, and content creation.
